A boy from Bengaluru who was not satisfied with an incredible score of 624/625 sent his papers for reevaluation only for them to return with full marks, making him the topper in the Karnataka state board Class X exams.

Not happy to share the topper spot, Mohammad Kaif Mulla sent the papers because he wanted to know where he lost that one elusive mark, news18 reported.

Kaif had scored 100% marks in all his subjects except science. Believing that there was an error, he resent his marks.

The IAS aspirant, who will opt for Science stream in Class 11, is the son of two teachers Haroon Rashid Mulla and Parveen Mulla. His father, Haroon, works as an Urdu teacher in a government primary school, while his mother teaches Kannada in a government high school.

"I was fully confident of getting 100% marks because after answering the papers, I confirmed all my written answers with my teachers, notebooks and model answer sheet. Fortunately, I found my all the answers were absolutely correct. Earlier, I got 624 (99.86%) marks but after re-evaluation, my result was as per my expectation," said Kaif to news website TwoCircles.net.

His father pointed out that Kaif was someone who did not spend time on distractions like social media.

It isn't just all studies for the boy, though, as he has taken part in various extracurricular activities in school and was also the commander of the school NCC unit.
