Noida: Two class XI students hospitalised after being ragged at DPS

Two class XI students were hospitalised on Tuesday after allegedly being ragged by their school seniors in Noida.

The incident happened on Monday night when the two students of Delhi Public School, located in Noida Sector 29, were injured during the ragging conducted by their seniors. As per reports, the suspect and victims both are juveniles.

Both the injured students have been hospitalised in Kailash Hospital in Sector 26, Noida.

Police are investigating the matter and verifying their allegations. They have filed an FIR on the complaint of the family members of the victims.

The victim is from Bulandshahar and his friend is from Kolkata. Both got admission in class 11 on May 1.

“On May 5, some class 12 students bullied me after which my heart beat and blood pressure shot up. I was rushed to Max Hospital. But the school administration did nothing. Again on the night of May 8, the same students attacked me with iron rods accusing me of complaining against them for ragging," said said one of the victims," reported Hindustan Times.

He also said that one of his friends tried to save him but he was roughed up. "I informed my father and both of us were taken to Kailash Hospital,” said one of the victims," he said.
