Noida double murder case: 16-year-old confesses to killing mother, sister

During interrogation, the boy revealed that he was often beaten up by his mother and he felt that his parents did not love him and rather loved his sister more.

The 16-year-old minor, who was the prime suspect,  on Saturday confessed to killing his mother and sister in their flat in Gaur City-2 Greater Noida.

According to police, the boy was apprehended by Gautam Buddha Nagar police from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh late on Friday night. 

"The boy who was on the run after committing the murder had called his father on Friday afternoon from an unknown number. The father immediately informed the police after which a team reached the location and found him," said Luv Kumar, Senior superintendent of police (Gautam Buddha Nagar). 

Police said the boy did not confess his crime during the call, but kept crying on the phone.  The phone number was passed to the police by the father of the minor following which location was traced to Mughal Sarai. A team was sent from Greater Noida by air and brought him to here.  

During interrogation, the boy revealed that he was often beaten up by his mother and he felt that his parents did not love him and rather loved his sister more.

 "The boy has confessed to the crime. He told his mother had scolded him on December 4 afternoon for using Sofa to study. Later, the boy was beaten by the mother. His mind was not in his senses and he murdered the mother and sister on December 4 night."Kumar added.

The boy after murdering mother and sister had booked cab and went to Old Delhi from where he took a train towards Jammu. He got down in Ludhiana and travelled to Chandigarh, Shimla, Chandigarh, Ranchi, and Varanasi, said police. 

Police further revealed that the boy used his bat and attacked his mother.  He eliminated mother and sister using scissor and pizza cutter to kill them.

On Tuesday night, a 42-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter were found murdered in their Greater Noida. Their bodies were found in the bedroom of their flat in the 11th avenue of Gaur City-2. The father was out of station for work when the incident took place.

According to the CCTV footage accessed by the team of officials probing the case, Anjali and her children were last seen entering the society around 8 pm on the fateful night and the boy was seen leaving the building at around 11:30 with a phone and the bag. 

The incident came to light when the boy's father asked his relatives to check on his family as she was not answering his constant calls.
