Arvind Kejriwal's rally in Benibagh in Varanasi has no special security arrangements. This despite an alert from the Intelligence Bureau.
Yesterday, Kejriwal had also hinted at a possibility of an attack on him in today's rally.
Security arrangements should have been beefed up considering that Indian Mujahideen's Waqas, allegedly involved in the 2010 Varanasi blasts, was recently arrested.
Irshad Ahmed, Aam Aadmi Party member shares, “There are five gates all together but there are no proper security arrangements on any of these gates. People are crossing these gates without any checking.”
Out of three metal detectors, only one has been placed at one of the gates and the other two are lying in the police truck.
