Claiming that the involvement of top BJP leadership in Babri Masjid demolition "is not secret", Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said there is nothing new in the sting operation by Cobrapost.

"I am astonished that we need a sting operation to expose it. Everybody knows it. I donot think there is anything new in this sting operation," Omar told reporters here today.
"I have not seen it (the video). You (media) know it well that top BJP leadership was involved in it. It is not secret thing," he added.

Hitting out at the BJP leadership, the Chief Minister said "when Babri Masjid was 'martyred' at the culmination of yatra, Who led the yatra? After its demolition, who celebrated it".

"It is the same set of people, who are today in command of BJP. It is not a secret thing," Omar said, adding "as far as the sting operation is concerned. I have remained busy in election. I have not seen it. Once I see it I will comment on it".

After completing his four-day tour of frontier Rajouri and Poonch districts, Omar attended a political function hosted by senior National Conference leader Harbans Singh at his residence in Jammu.
