"The change of guard ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan will not be held on Saturday (July 22, 2017) due to full dress rehearsal for assumption of office of the President of India by the President elect on July 25," an official release issued today said.

Ram Nath Kovind, former Bihar Governor, has been elected as the new head of state to succeed incumbent President Pranab Mukherjee, who completes his five-year term on Monday.
