Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not agree on Monday with its NDA partner BJP's demand for resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the Coalgate.

"Every party has its own way of looking into an issue," Kumar, a senior JD(U) leader told reporters after the weekly 'Janata Ke Darbar mein Mukhyamantri' programme at his residence here.

He also disagreed with Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh's comments on judicial activism in the wake of the Supreme Court's strong observations on Coalgate and the government vetting the CBI report on the scam.

"Courts have been monitoring investigation of scams in the past too. There is nothing unusual in this," he said.

Referring to the resignations of former union ministers Pawan Kumar Bansal and Ashwani Kumar, he said their resignations came late which lessened the 'moral impact'.

Asked whether he felt that the Railway ministry was witnessing frequent change of ministers, Kumar, who served as railway minister in the NDA government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said "It is true that Railways is witnessing instability in UPA II."

Asked to comment on the introduction of the Food Security Bill in Parliament, the chief minister said he was in favour of it but expressed concern over its present form.

"It would have been better if discussions took place before tabling of the bill ... We have said that the Centre should bear the entire additional cost that will come in with the implementation of the Food Bill as states have little resource."

Asked to comment on Lalu Prasad's 'Parivartan Rally' here on May 15, Kumar said though the party claimed that the rally was being held to remove his government, in reality it was a fight for supremacy within the family of the RJD president.

"The rally's sole aim is to establish supremacy of T2 (Prasad's sons Tej Pratap and Tejaswi Yadav) in place of S2 (his brothers-in-law Sadhu Yadav and Subhash Yadav) who ruled the roost earlier," he commented sarcastically. Tej Pratap and Tejaswi Yadav are being seen frequently in RJD rallies held now.
