Railways has rushed in relief and rescue team to Sirathu in Kaushambi, after a train derail incident this afternoon in the neighbouring district in the state.

Eight bogies of a Jammu-bound train derailed here in Uttar Pradesh today, reportedly killing one person and injuring six.
The Muri Express, on way to Jammu Tawi, derailed between Sirathu and Atsarai railway stations and one of them overturned, Chief PRO North-Central railway Vijay Kumar said.
At least three trains have been cancelled while a number of others diverted following derailment of Jammu-bound train here this afternoon.
"Both up and down lines have been affected by the derailment of Muri Express between Sirathu and Athsarai stations. As a result, the Allahabad-Kanpur Intercity Express and the Sangam Express, scheduled to leave for Meerut this evening, have been cancelled. Similarly, the Anand Vihar Terminus-Kolkata Express has also been cancelled", North Central Railway PRO Amit Malaviya said.
Besides, a number of train which were to pass through the Allahabad Junction are now being run on a diverted route.
Top officials of the North Central Railway (NCR) Zone, headquartered in Allahabad, have rushed to the spot. A relief train and medical team have also been sent to the site of the mishap for carrying out rescue operations, officials said.
According to NCR Public Relations Officer Amit Malviya, General Manager of NCR, Mahesh Mangal and DRM of Allahabad Division, V K Tripathi along with other officials have left for Sirathu, about 65 kms from here, soon after a relief train and a medical team was sent to the site of the incident.
There are reports of death of one person in the accident but details are awaited, he said. Relief and rescue teams have been rushed to the site, Kumar said.

While over 100 people have been reported to be injured.
Muri Express, that travels from Tatanagar to Jammu, derailed in Kaushambi at around 2 pm.
UP CM Akhilesh Yadav also announced Rs 2 lakh as exgratia for the victims of this train derailment.
