NIFT entrance examination 2017 results declared, check nift.ac.in

Students awaiting results of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance examination 2017, can finally heave a sigh of relief. The results for examination conducted on February 12, 2017 have been declared on their official website - ​​nift.ac.in.

NIFT conducted two exams on the basis of General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT).

This test is conducted to check the candidate’s skills for material handling and innovative ability. 

The final results are yet to be announced though. Shortlisted candidates for Masters programme will have to go through a second round of Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), results of which will be announced in May/June. Post which there will be a counselling session for qualified candidates. 

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:

(i) Log on to the website - nift.ac.in

(ii) On the homepage, under 'Admission 2017' click on Results of the Entrance Examination held on 12th February, 2017.

(iii) A new page will open

(iv) Enter your details - roll number, date of birth and application number.

(v) Click to submit

(vi) Results will be displayed

Candidates can take a print out of their scorecard for future reference.

The examination was conducted for the following courses: Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BF Tech), Bachelor of Design (B Des), Master of Design (M Des), Master of Fashion Technology (MF Tech) and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
