Members of a right-wing group, Hindu Sena allegedly vandalised the office of Pakistan International Airlines on Thursday near Barakhamba Road in New Delhi. One arrest has been made so far in this incident.

The incident took place around noon following which police were informed and a team was rushed to the spot, said a police official. DCP (New Delhi) Jatin Narwal confirmed the development and said that appropriate action will follow.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the accused are associates of the person who had called up the police last year regarding "beef" being served at Kerala House here, an official said.  All the PIA employees are safe according to statement given by Pakistan High Commissioner. PIA in a statement said that the mob raising anti-Pakistan slogans ransacked the office and damaged computers and other properties. 4 members of Hindu Sena entered the property and ransacked it. They also spread some pamphlets blaming Pakistan for the Pathankot attack.

Indian Express has quoted Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta as saying, “Through this act, the members of our Delhi unit have expressed their anger and sent a message to Pakistan that they should respect our sentiments and keep in mind that we are not weak.”

This is how MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup reacted.
