Ministry of External Affairs revealed that National Security Advisors of both India and Pakistan met in Bangkok on Sunday along with the respective foreign secretaries.

According to MEA, talks were held in a candid, cordial and constructive atmosphere.

PM Modi and Nawaz Sharif had earlier met briefly on the sidelines of Paris Climate Conference. During the meeting, the NSAs discuss peace and security, terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir and other issues. NSAs have agreed to carry forward the constructive engagement in the future, said the MEA statement.

Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is slated to travel to Pakistan to attend a multilateral summit. Earlier in the year, a proposed meeting of Pakistan NSA to India was called off after both sides failed to agree about the issues to be discussed.
