Narendra Modi tweets about his conversation with Nawaz Sharif on their mothers

Late night on his swearing-in day, India's new Prime Minister Narendra Modi signaled a new chapter in India-Pakistan relationship when he tweeted an exchange between him and Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over their mothers. As both the prime ministers prepare to meet again tomorrow for their first bilateral talks, this gesture along with Sharif travelling to India to attend Modi's oath ceremony is being seen a beginning of a new era in south Asian history.

Nawaz Sharif ji told me that he stays in Islamabad but goes to meet his Mother once in a week.

The visuals touched both Nawaz Sharif ji & his Mother. He told me that after seeing the visuals his Mother got very emotional.
