Referring political slogans like 'Congress Mukt Bharat' and "RSS Mukt Bharat', the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday stated that these are a political statement and RSS does not believe in excluding anyone. "In a process of nation building, we will have to include everyone, including those who oppose us," Bhagwat said.

Bhagwat was in Pune for the book launching ceremony of the secretary of Ministry of external affairs ministry Dnaneshwar Mulay on Sunday. Sundeep Waslekar, president of Strategic Foresight Group was also present at the event.

Taking a cue from Waslekar's speech in which he said that instead of speaking about 'Congress Mukt' or 'RSS Mukt India' we should look to include everyone for the development of the country, Bhagwat said, "The language of exclusion of someone is used in politics but the RSS does not use the language of exclusion. We believe in including everyone. In a process of nation building, we will have to include each and every one, including our opposition."

Speaking about the ideology of Hindutva, Bhagwat said, "There are many definitions about Hindutva but there is only one synopsis of Hindutva and that is faith. One has to have faith in himself that he will be able to contribute in nation building process. Similarly, he also should have faith in his family, his village, and the country as a whole and then only, we can have an inclusive process of nation-building."

Lauding the efforts of Mulay for his social work, Bhagwat said, "The country needs government officers like Mulay who are connected with the motherland. Unless there is a connect of the officer with his motherland, he can not think of the development of his own country."

Speaking on the occasion of the launching of his six books, Mulay said, "When I was selected for the Indian foreign services, I had decided to work as people's diplomat. During my career spanning 35 years, I tried to showcase India's positive image in the foreign countries where I worked."
