'My visit to Central Asian nations will enhance our ties', says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said his visit to five Central Asian countries and Russia next week will enhance India's ties with the region.

"On Monday I will commence my visit to 5 Central Asian Nations & Russia, where I will attend the BRICS & SCO Summit," Prime Minister Modi said on twitter.

"My visit to Central Asian Nations will enhance ties with this region. The scope of cooperation is very wide," he added.

Prime Minister Modi will participate in the BRICS and SCO Summit being held in Ufa, Russia next week besides touring Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
