Ordering an iPhone from an online shopping portal turned into nightmare for a Mumbai based man after he found a soap bar inside the delivery box  The Byculla police have registered a cheating case against the Flipkart's delivery boy,said police.

According to Mumbai police, the complainant Tabrej Nagaralli had ordered an iPhone 8 from Flipkart recently and had paid Rs 55 thousand online. Following the order, on January 22, a parcel was delivered to him. However, Nagaralli was shocked to found pink colour soap in the box instead of mobile phone. 

In his complaint to the police, Nagaralli claimed that he immediately flagged the issue with the company who promised him to resolve it in a day. However, instead of resolving the issue the company executive delayed the process and finally on January 31st Nagaralli received a call from the company's executive who allegedly informed that the complaint has been cancelled. However he immediately got  an e-mail, saying "The product has been delivered properly and hence the complaint raised by him is being disposed of," the FIR copy stated.

The victim then approached the police and registered the complaint. 

"We have registered an FIR against the delivery boy of Flipkart and probing the case. As of now the case has been registered under the section of Indian penal code for cheating and if we found that use of a computer for cheating, we will add sections of Information Technology act," said Avinash Shingte, Senior Police Inspector of Byculla police station.
