Mumbai-based creative writer Vaibhav Vishal isn't new to Internet scammers. Last year, Vaibhav got an email from a supposed Canadian headhunter who offered Vaibhav the 'opportunity of a lifetime' to relocate to the North American nation. Vaibhav, who realised the gentleman was a scamster, sent a series of emails, following which the headhunter stopped emailing.

Recently,  the freelance writer, received a Twitter DM from a certain Clara Julliard. When speaking to us, Vaibhav said that he had an open profile and anyone could send him a direct message. "People need to opt for the no-DM thing

I have not done that. Because Clara, my ladylove, would not have approached me otherwise," he added.

Scott told Vaibhav that she was keen on marrying an Indian and Vaibhav fit the bill. He shared the details on his blog.

At the end, Vaibhav said, "Our love story came to an abrupt end. Flustered and frustrated, she blocked me from Twitter and her life. It has left me a sad man, but I sure am not bitter or sour about it. I have her memories to live by. And I also have the instagram handle from where s/he borrowed all her pictures. :)."
