Molestation case: Nothing substantial found against Kumar Vishwas, says Delhi Police

The ATR was filed in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Kumar Sharma who has now fixed the matter for arguments on February 24.

Delhi Police filed a status report before a court here on a plea filed by a party volunteer seeking registration of an FIR against AAP leader Kumar Vishwas for allegedly molesting her. According to sources, the police has said in its report that during its probe, nothing has been found to substantiate the allegations levelled by the complainant against Vishwas to register any criminal case against him. 

The ATR was filed in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Kumar Sharma who has now fixed the matter for arguments on February 24. The court had on December 21 asked the police to file a status report as to whether any FIR has been registered on the complaint. The woman, in her complaint seeking registration of FIR against Vishwas, has alleged that he had molested her. She has claimed that she had approached the police with her complaint but no action was taken against the leader.
