A probe has been launched to ascertain the circumstances in which the crucial information about the police movement was leaked to her.
Known as the closest aide of now jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Honeypreet allegedly played a major role in inciting mob and rioting in Panchkula after Ram Rahim's rape conviction on August 25.
Sources said that the day Honeypreet approached the Delhi High Court for an anticipatory bail, she was in Gurgaon.
But before she could be nabbed by the Special Investigation Team, Honeypreet fled the Gurgaon flat hours before the raid.
Not only her, another aide Aditya Insan is also evading the arrest by getting raid information in nick of time.
Aditya Insan was in Rajasthan's Ganganagar but SIT again failed to arrest him.
The pattern shows that someone in the Haryana Police is leaking information to them.
State Home Secretary reportedly said that Honeypreet was using WhatsApp calls to dodge the electronic surveillance.
Two days ago, the Delhi High Court had trashed Honeypreet's anticipatory bail application and said that it was just a plot to buy more time.
The High Court also told her to surrender in court if she is afraid for her life.
Honeypreet has been absconding ever since the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. She was last seen accompanying 'Pitaji' on a chopper, when he was taken to the Rohtak Jail.
There were reports that Ram Rahim had requested the presence of his 'adopted daughter' Honeypreet in the jail.
He had said that Honeypreet was his physiotherapsit hence she should stay with him in the jail.
