A three-day meeting of RSS Prant Pracharaks, called to discuss methods to expand the organisation's base, concluded here today with sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat expressing happiness over rising social acceptability of the sangh ideology.

It was decided in the meet that the Braj Prant Pracharak Dinesh Kumar would now be sent to the BJP.

Bhagwat presided over three sessions held on the last day of the event on the outskirts of the town on Friday.

Though the meeting was a quiet and closed-door affair, sangh sources said Bhagwat asked the Prant Pracharakas, Kshetriya pracharakas to think up ways to reach out to all sections of society by holding more shakhas and increase its presence to cover 100 per cent of the development blocks across the country.

Measures to shatter myths about the sangh through an intelligent use of the social media was also among the topics that came up during the deliberations, the sources said.

Bhagwat is also understood to have expressed happiness at what they described as the steadily rising social acceptability of the sangh ideology and the organisation's widening follower base, they said.

The event saw 42 prant pracharakas, 11 kshetriya pracharakas among a total of around 170 cadres from different parts of the country participating in the sessions.

Earlier in the day Bhagwat and other RSS leaders including its Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaidya planted rudraksha and other saplings on the school campus where the meeting took place.

However, when approached by media during the tea plantation programme Bhagwat refused to share anything about the meeting with the media. Taking stock of sangh activities in the prants and kshetras, Kerala and Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh were adjudged the best on performance parameters, sources said.
