In the wake of increasing arrests of Aam Aadmi party legislators in Delhi, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday declared that the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi might bump him off and his party MLAs in the days to come.

Escalating the war between him and Modi, Kejriwal released a speech on the AAP's YouTube channel, where he called on AAP legislators to be prepared and make the sacrifice or back off and stay at home.

Kejriwal alleged that there was a lot of pressure on his party from all corners, especially with constant raids and interrogation by agencies such as the Anti-Corruption Branch, CBI, Income Tax Department and Delhi Police.

"If so many departments are after us, there must be some mastermind behind all of this. Who is this mastermind? Amit Shah? Modiji? PMO? Amit Shah is doing all of this on Modiji's instructions," Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal alleged that "insiders" have said that the PM is "frustrated" and angry with him and his party. "So he is not using his mind and thinking logically. He is making decisions in frustration. This is dangerous for the country.

Is the country in safe hands?" Kejriwal asked, adding that the more he thinks about it, he is unable to sleep.

"This is a critical time. All of you think and discuss it with your families. Things are going to become murkier in the time to come. They can go to any extent. They may kill us. They may even kill me. They could do anything," adding that party members and AAP volunteers may not only have to go to jail multiple times, but "anything" can happen to them.

"If you are willing to face this, stand with us. If you don't have the strength for this, then give up," he said.

A fuming BJP retaliated dubbing him paranoid and alleging that he was unable to control the criminal elements in his party.

"A paranoid Kejriwal needs to go for another detoxification therapy because he seems to be suffering from some delusions. His inability to govern Delhi and control criminal elements in his party seems to have crippled his thinking," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said.

"He has to only look within for all his problems and cannot find excuses in blaming others," he said.

'PM is frustrated'
