Amid all speculations of the AAP gaining popularity and Arvind Kejriwal taking the lead, BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is still the ultimate choice of the voters. According to the pre poll survey conducted by Zee Media in association with TALEEM Foundation across the country, almost 46.2 want to see Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. If we ignore a few states like Kerala and Jammu & Kashmir where the preference for Modi as Prime Minister was quite low ( 12.8 percent and 6.7 percent respectively), all is well for the Modi supporters . However, what’s surprising is that in Modi's home state of Gujarat, Rahul Gandhi gained the highest percentage (40.8 percent) in terms of preference of the voters. Other names mentioned by very lesser number were Arvind Kejriwal, Mayawati, Nitish Kumar and Mamata Banerjee. Interestingly 17.1 percent voters indicated “Can’t say” on this question.
