Model files rape case against Mumbai top cop

A model has filed a case of alleged rape against IPS officer Sunil Paraskar in Malwani police station.

The model approached Malwani police on Thursday alleging sexual assault by the officer who is currently serving as the Deputy Inspector General in DG headquarters in Colaba.

According to reports, the model has alleged that she was sexually assualted on several occasions and in a three-star hotel in Malad

He had served as the Additional Commissioner of Police of North region till February 2014. A case was registered under section 376 (rape) and other relevant sections.

According to sources, the incident took place in Malwani area of Malad West. No arrest has been made yet. The police is investigating the case.
