MK Stalin declines to comment on Alagiri's meeting with Manmohan Singh

DMK chief M Karunanidhi's younger son M K stalin today declined to comment on his elder brother and suspended party strongman M K Alagiri meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying he does not read and discuss "unnecessary" reports.

DMK chief M Karunanidhi's younger son M K stalin today declined to comment on his elder brother and suspended party strongman M K Alagiri meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying he does not read and discuss "unnecessary" reports.

"I don't read unnecessary reports... so I don't want to discuss them," he told reporters at the airport here in response to queries in this regard.

Denied a ticket and embarrassing the party by meeting Singh, Alagiri today said he would decide his course of action after consulting his supporters amidst reports that he may float his own outfit.

Alagiri, the party's strongman in Madurai, was suspended for alleged indiscipline following leadership squabbles involving Stalin.
