Minor abducted and raped for 3 months by neighbour

A minor girl was allegedly lured, abducted, kept in confinement and raped for three months before being dumped by her abductors when she became pregnant, police said on Monday.

According to police, the 15 year old girl, a resident of Dabua colony here, was allegedly lured by her neighbour Kavita who along with her cousin Sunil Patel, abducted her and took her to some place in Madhya Pradesh. The girl was kept in confinement for three months and she was also subjected to sexual assault almost daily, they said, adding when she become pregnant the accused dumped her in the city and fled.

Based on her mother's complaint, one of the accused Kavita was arrested while search was on to arrest Patel, police said.
