A Bengaluru-bound Air India flight from New Delhi was diverted to Nagpur this morning due to a medical emergency onboard.
The flight- AI 803, an Airbus A320 aircraft, took off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi for Bengaluru around 6.23 am, Air India said in a statement.
"However, after being airborne for about one hour, it was diverted to Nagpur due to a medical emergency," it added.
"After the aircraft landed in Nagpur at 7.52 am, the passenger who suffered a paralytic attack onboard was deplaned along with his aide and immediately admitted to a local hospital, Air India said in a statement," the airline said.
The flight resumed its onward journey for Bengaluru from Nagpur at around 9.35 am , Air India said.
