a high of 34.1 degrees Celsius, down three notches against the
normal limit, the MeT department said.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 33.7 degrees
Celsius, down five notches against normal while Ludhiana and
Patiala recorded maximum temperatures of 34 degrees Celsius
and 34.1 degrees Celsius respectively.
In Haryana, Karnal recorded a high of 34.6 degrees
Celsius, three notches below normal limits while Ambala's
maximum temperature settled at 35.3 degrees Celsius.
Hisar recorded a high of 34.1 degrees Celsius, six
notches below the normal.
The weatherman has forecast rain and thundershowers at
isolated places in Punjab and Haryana over the next two days.
