A seven-foot-long crocodile was found at the doorstep in a residential area in a village near Tanjore on Wednesday.

As per reports in The Times of India, the villagers were used to seeing the reptile in the river, but not at anyone’s doorstep. Vincent and his family, who spotted the crocodile immediately alerted the fire service personnel.

Firefighters rushed to the spot and rescued it with the help of locals. Meanwhile, the forest department personnel were informed about the incident.
