Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for ISRO after the Mars Orbiter Mission, Mangalyaan, created history by successfully entering the Martian orbit on its maiden attempt. The Mars Orbiter Mission is India's first interplanetary mission.
Several members of the scientific community shared their joy over Mangalyaan’s success and congratulated ISRO. The well wishers included US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency and Former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair.
