Manipuri student found dead inside JNU campus

A PhD student was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his hostel room inside the JNU campus late on Tuesday night.

JR Philemon Raja hailed from Manipur and was a PhD student at the school of international studies. He resided in Room number 171 at the Brahmaputra hostel.

Students at the campus called the security after a foul smell started emanating from the room. They tried to see through the window and saw him lying face down on the floor. When the security broke open the door, Raja was found to be dead. Police authorities were subsequently informed as well.
