The Minister for health and family welfare in Karnataka, UT Khader,  has stated that a notice will be issued to KFC after complaints of a Zinger Burger with worms being served to a customer.

A leading daily states that Prashant and his fiancée Deekshitha had gone to the KFC outlet in City Centre Mall where she ordered a Zinger Burger. After she started eating it, she discovered two worms in the burger. When they complained to the manager he asked them not to file a complaint. The staff didn’t allow them to take pictures and reasoned that it could have come from the vegetables they had used in the burger.

The report adds that the KFC spokesperson Suraj Kashyap said, “As a responsible brand, KFC is committed to following best international standards and serving the highest quality products to all our customers across all our restaurants. We have regular checks and effective systems in place.”
