The Nyas Chairman said that a high-level delegation of sadhus and sanths will soon call on PM Modi in light of the Supreme Court observations and urge him to pave a way for the construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya at the disputed site.
After All-India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), the Sri Ram Janamabhoomi Nyas, the highest body of Hindus spearheading Ram Janambhoomi temple movement, has also rejected the Supreme Court suggestion on Friday, for initiating a dialogue for an out-of-court settlement in the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid case.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, Chairman, Nyas, said that since historical facts state that the disputed area was the birthplace of Lord Rama, and is in favour of the Hindus, so, an attempt to settle the issue ou-of-court settlement was out of the question. "This will only divide the country and create yet another Pakistan," said Mahant Das, who is also the Chairman of Maniram Chavani in Ayodhya.

A forefront leader of the temple issue, Mahant Das said that people of the country have great faith in the Supreme Court and it should ensure hearing the case on a day-to-day basis and give its final verdict. "It is strange that people look at the Supreme Court with great faith for justice, but the same is suggesting an out-of-court settlement instead of delivering a verdict," Mahant Das said.
Coming heavily on those advocating an out-of-court dialogue and settlement, the Nyas Chairman pointed that "even Lord Krishna had held several rounds of talks with the Kauravas to avoid war but failed in his attempts, and the result was the battle of Kurukshetra."
"It is an attempt to misguide the Hindus. Entire Ayodhya and the site (disputed) where Lord Rama was born belonged to us and there is no question of us accepting anything but the entire land for the construction of a Ram temple there," Mahant Das said.
He said that many attempts have been made in the past to settle the issue out-of-court but failed, resulting in the Allahabad High Court's Lucknow bench pronouncing the verdict on the case. "We are not satisfied with the judgment since it divided the land whereas Hindus were demanding control of the entire land for the construction of the temple," he said.
He also suggested that the only way to settle the issue is to begin the construction of the Ram Mandir. "We will apprise Modi of our sentiments in the light of the Supreme Court suggestion and urge the PM to make a law or expedite the case pending in the apex court," he said.
