A man allegedly committed suicide after administering poison to his two sons in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district, police said today.
40-year-old Balvindra Singh allegedly administered the poison to his sons Sandeep (11) and Harman (8) in their meal and later consumed it himself last night, SHO Jaitsar Jaiprakash said.
Singh, who was a worker in a brick kiln, was under distress for some time due to some dispute with his wife, police said.
The three bodies were today found at their place near the kiln, where the victim had been working.
His wife was not present in the house when he took the extreme step, the SHO said, adding, the bodies were handed over to family members after postmortem.
