A man threw red pepper powder at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inside the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday, officials said.
The man, Anil Kumar, has been detained, they said.
The attack took place outside the chief minister's chamber on the third floor when he was leaving for lunch.
According to a CCTV visual report by ANI news agency, the incident took place at Delhi's Central Secretariat. The man can be seen walking towards the CM and chilli powder fell from his hand. It is being speculated that the accused who has been detained went to meet Arvind Kejriwal with his grievances. Further investigations are underway whether it was an attack.
