Mamata's close aide businessman Shibaji Panja granted bail

 A local court in Barrackpore in West Bengal has granted bail to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's close aide and businessman Sibaji Panja, who was arrested on Saturday on charges of financial fraud.

 A local court in Barrackpore in West Bengal has granted bail to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's close aide and businessman Sibaji Panja, who was arrested on Saturday on charges of financial fraud.

The court granted him bail on a personal bond of 50 thousand rupees. Panja was a member of a delegation during West Bengal chief minister's visit to Bangladesh and had been detained by the Emigration Department officials in Kolkata, soon after his arrival from Bangladesh.

The Delhi police had issued a lookout notice for Panja on February 19 in an economic offence case.
