At the capital's massive Ramlila Maidan, her first rally at the venue, the West Bengal Chief Minister is expected to unveil her what is being called her "national agenda."
Banerjee has earlier asserted that she expects her party to be the third largest in the new Lok Sabha, after the two big parties Congress and the BJP.
Today rally is expected to feature Hazare's 17-point agenda for clean governance.
Hazare had earlier heaped praise on the West Bengal chief minister and formally announced his backing to her party in the coming general election. "I have extended my support to Mamata Banerjee as she thinks and works only for society and country," he had said. "She is the CM and can lead a life full of luxury, but she leads a simple life," Hazare said justifying his support for the TMC chief.
"She is the only leader who responded to my letter seeking support on 17 issues for good governance," he added.
