RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday called for outfit members to take a resolve towards making India a world leader so that the entire world can chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

"We have to work towards making our country a world leader and we have to become such that the entire world chants 'Vishwa Guru Bharat Mata Ki Jai.' And this is our personal resolution, our collective resolution, our only resolution..." Bhagwat said while addressing a gathering of Sangh members in Ahmedabad.

"We have to bring this society together through nationalistic ideals and make our country achieve the status of a world leader and make it such that the entire world chants 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', a spirited 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'," he added.

"For the Sangh, there is only one 'Jai' and that is 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. To achieve this, we will first have to think what all changes we need to bring in our life and then we should achieve them...It is our responsibility to fulfil (K B Hedgewar's) resolution of a 'Hindu Rashtra' and on the occasion of 'Pratipada' we should think how to achieve it," Bhagwat added.

"Our job is to achieve this resolution. And for that we have to discipline ourselves and change in accordance with the resolution," he added.

Gujarat Education Minister Ramanlal Vora, Home Minister Rajnibhai Patel and retired IPS officer D G Vanzara were present on the occasion. Bhagwat also said the glory and trust among people for RSS has increased. He further said the Sangh's idea of nationalism transcended national boundary.

"Sangh is clear about our idea of nationalism. Our nationalism is 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam', the whole world is our kin and we will have to first discard the differences among ourselves to achieve this," he said.

"We have to make entire society convert to RSS, including even those who oppose the RSS. And this will not happen only through lectures but through examples of our own life. And we should not have doubt about nationalism that we believe in which is not against anybody. We believe in taking all societies together," the Sarsanghachalak said.

"And Bharat Mata is the one who gives us this thought, for it nurtures us all," he added.
