Major bureaucratic reshuffle in Haryana, Ashok Khemka transferred

 In the first major bureaucratic reshuffle in Haryana after BJP came to power, 71 IAS officers, including Ashok Khemka, who had cancelled the mutation of Robert Vadra's land, were transferred on Friday night.

1991-batch IAS officer Khemka, who was Director-General and Secretary, Archives Department, has been posted as State Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Transport Department, an official release said in Chandigarh. Khemka had cancelled mutation of the land of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law with DLF in Shikohabad in Gurgaon district. The first BJP government headed by Manohar Lal Khattar transferred 19 of 21 Deputy Commissioners and two Divisional Commissioners in Friday's exercise.

Those transferred include Director Generals of various departments including Agriculture, Sports, Technical Education, Information and Public Relations, Electronic & Information Technology and Food and Supplies. Others transferred include Secretaries and Special Secretaries of various departments, Managing Directors of various Corporations and Boards, Additional Deputy Commissioners of various districts. Anand Mohan Sharan has been posted as Resident Commissioner, Haryana at New Delhi while Vineet Garg has been posted as Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation.
