Maharashtra: Truck rams into van, 11 dead

11 people have lost their lives while four people have been critically injured after two vehicles collided in Korpana area in the wee hours of Sunday. Korpana is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. 

According to reports, the incident happened on the Korpana Wani road around 9.30 pm on Saturday when a speeding truck rammed into a van. The van had 15 occupants. 7 women, 2 minors and the van driver died in the tragic accident. The truck driver has fled the scene. 

The injured including a minor have been shifted to a nearby medical centre for treatment.
