Maharashtra: Police seizes Rs 41 lakh in Rs 2000 and Rs 100 notes in Karanja, 11 arrested

The police has seized unaccounted cash worth Rs 41 lakh in Rs 2000 and Rs 100 notes from Karanja in Washim, Maharashtra. Eleven people travelling from Nagpur to Karanja in three cars were intercepted by the police and have been arrested.

The IT Dept has been informed.

DSP Ratnakar Nawale said, "During checking we intercepted three cars. Eleven people were travelling from Nagpur to Karanja. Rs 41 lakh has been seized and eleven people have arrested," he added.
