Maharashtra: Five killed, two injured in road mishap near Ahmednagar

Five persons were killed and two others injured when a van collided with a tractor near Mali Chinchore village, around 57 kms from Ahmednagar, this afternoon, police said.

The accident took place near the village located along the Ahmednagar-Aurangabad road around 4 pm, they said. The deceased, identified as Ramesh Sonar (65), Vimal Sonar (65), Ramesh Sonawane (62), Shalini Sonawane (60) and Ajay Ghodale (30), were residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad area near Pune city, police said.
