Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis survives another chopper accident; CMO plays down report

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis survived another helicopter scare on Friday afternoon, TV reports said. However, the chief minister’s office has said that the reports are untrue.

As per reports, the Fadnavis was about o enter the helicopter after the pilot started its engines. All of a sudden, the chopper began lifting off before Fadnavis boarded it. Fortunately, he managed to escape.

Fadnavis had a lucky escape on May 25, as his helicopter crash-landed soon after it took off from a helipad at Nilanga in Latur district of central Maharashtra.
