Khakhi uniform caught in time wrap, says Babulal Gaur.

The state police will soon shed its khaki colour and sport a new look.

Home minister Babulal Gaur strongly feels that khakhi uniform worn by the police from the British era is caught in the time warp and must change with the changing time. “Policemen should look smart and feel comfortable in their uniforms like their counterparts in European countries,” Gaur said. He said he has set up an expert committee to suggest suitable changes in uniform. It will study designs of police uniforms at national and international levels and choose most suitable for the MP police.
