In times when hot water still remains a luxury for most of the people in India, it seems this household in Madhya Pradesh has been blessed with an abundant supply of hot water and that too directly out of the taps.

The Jains of Narsinghpur are surprised and worried lot after the tap attached submersible pump of their house supplies hot water.

Reportedly, the hot water starts flowing as soon as one switches the motor on. "For the last 15 days, we have been getting boiling water straight from the submersible pump which has been installed in an 80-feet-deep pit behind our house," said Rajesh Jain, one of the family members. "All of us are worried as the temperature of the water is above normal and so can't be used for any purposes, merely touching it might burn our hands," added Rajesh.

Despite numerous complaints by the Jain family, there has been reportedly no response or action by the authorities. "We have even put out our problem on social media via various social media groups. However, this has all been futile," said Nishi Jain, another member of the family. Apparently, fearing that the water can be harmful to the family, they have stopped using it in any form. "We have been bringing water from outside since the last 15 days," said Rajesh. "I urge the authorities to come and inspect the water so that all of us are relieved and able to use the water again," added Rajesh.
