Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday met industrialists in Mumbai to discuss about his new initiatives aimed at attracting investment in the proposed new industrial town between Bhopal and Indore as well as the Chambal ravines.

The Chief Minister met top industrialists from reputed industrial houses including Tatas, Reliance, Shapoorji Pallonji, Wellspun, Mahindra, Force Motors and Godrej, inviting them all to take part in the proposed Global Investors' Summit at Indore, an official release said.

Tata Group Chairman Cyrus Mistry informed Chouhan about the expansion plans of the Dewas-based Tata International, it said.

Shapoorji Pallonji Group Chief Managing Director Shapoor Mistry also met Chouhan and showed interest in urban-rural housing projects, Khar river diversion project, High Tech City and renewable energy, the release said.

Ipca Laboratories which was represented by Premchand Godha and informed Chouhan about his ongoing projects in the state as well as expansion plans. DB Power Ltd's Managing Director Girish Agrawal and Lupin's Director, KR Gupta also met the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and discussed investment proposals, the release said.

Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia and MP Chief Secretary Antony DeSa among others were present on the occasion, the release said.
