A sanitation worker in government hospital in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesj found a half-eaten body of a woman on Sunday.
The body of 70-year-old Bishmillah Bai was reportedly eaten up by dogs. According to a Times of India report, incharge of Kotwali police station Mukesh Gaur said, "Only her head and some upper body parts were left. The rest had been eaten up by animals."
However, the hospital authorities were unaware that Bishmillah was missing since March 22. It was only when a stench started bothering patients and doctors, did the sanitation workers find the body and identified it from her purse and scraps of saree and sweater. The report also states that it is not known whether she was alive or dead when attacked by dogs. But the marks on her body indicated that she was dragged five to seven feet through the undergrowth.
This is the fifth such incident in Madhya Pradesh in less than 10 months.
