In a rare incident, over 50 pregnant women fell sick after they were injected with an antibiotic in a Madhya Pradesh hospital on Sunday night.
The pregnant women, some of them who were expecting and the others who just gave birth, were given the dose of antibiotics in the Gwalior's Kamla Raja Government Hospital. They started experiencing shivers after the injection and complained of headache and fever.

"The staff gave me injections. I have been feeling very cold & experiencing headache ever since," a woman admitted in the hospital told ANI.
The injection was being administered by a trainee nurse who injected the antibiotic in combination with normal water instead of distilled water, accoring to a TOI report.
Till now, there has been no comments from the hospital staff.
