MS Subbulakshmi's 'Vishnu Sahasranamam' blocked on YouTube

On Tuesday morning, many music lovers who logged onto YouTube to listen to MS Subbulakshmi's 'Vishnu Sahasranamam' found to their dismay that the video was blocked.

A report in The Hindu states that when several links were clicked on, they led to a screen which stated, “This video contains content from Saregama, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.” People took to social media to express their unhappiness over this sudden development.

Prior to this, there were numerous videos containing kritis of saint Thyagaraja which were blocked in 2014.
