A relative of a suspected ISIS terrorist who was killed in a house on the outskirts of Lucknow city after a 12-hour long operation, said the family was shocked as he was well-behaved.

Saifullah was killed in an exchange of fire with the police. He is suspected to be linked with the blast in the Bhopal-Ujjain train on Tuesday. At least 10 people were injured, three of them seriously, in the IED blast near Jabdi station in Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh.

Speaking to ANI, Saifullah's relative said, "We are shocked. He was well-behaved and performed namaz five times a day." "We did not expect this from him," he added.

Meanwhile, the father of two of the suspected terrorists arrested by the UP Police from Kanpur  — Mohammed Faisal Khan and Mohammed Imran alias Bhaai Jaan  — said that the accusations were false.

Police have recovered a laptop, some mobile phones and videos and literature related to ISIS from them.

"Faisal took care of a shop and Imran is married and has a daughter," the father said.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Daljeet Chaudhary said all agencies were working together and police will investigate all the suspects they have nabbed.
