The Lok Sabha elections start on Monday as India will vote to select its next government and a new Prime Minister. Below is a schedule of the polling dates to look out for and bookmark to participate in the voting process.

The Lok Sabha election begins on Monday in six constituencies of two states (Assam and Tripura) in the first of the nine-phased polls.
Five constituencies in Assam — Tezpur, Kaliabor, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Lakhimpur and Tripura (West) in Tripura — will go to polls on Monday.
Campaign has already ended in these constituencies and the candidates have mounted door-to-door contact with the electorate seeking their votes.
