The actor is facing the ire of several ministers in Tamil Nadu for his recent comment that there is corruption in all the state government departments.
After sparking off speculation of him joining politics through a cryptic tweet, veteran actor Kamal Haasan on Wednesday appealed to his fans and "discerning" people of Tamil Nadu to send online complaints to the state ministers on the corruption faced by them.

Haasan's remarks comes in the wake of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami dismissing the actor's allegations of corruption in the government, on Wednesday, saying the actor "does not know politics". "He is into acting... does not know about politics. After he comes to politics and says (such) things, we will give a proper response," Palaniswami said.
"I request you to send a detailed version of the corruption or bribery you have faced in this government to the concerned ministers. Please note that the questions should be respectfully addressed to the ministers," he said in a statement.
"We have to wait and see whether they will arrest all those who raised the corruption charges or reply to them," the actor said, adding that prisons in the South India would be inadequate to accommodate lakhs of people.

“Let us criticise as nobody now is the king. We will stand up as we are not a king like you. Defeated and dead then militant. If I decide, I am Chief Minister. Those who bow are they slaves? Those who give up crown are they losers? It is wrong to chase them as fools. The paths which are not searched will not be seen. Come with me friend, one who attempts to avoid fanaticism/superstition is a leader,” Haasan tweeted on Tuesday night.
